Hauntingly beautiful

is how I would describe this gravesite we stumbled upon in Bond Head, Ontario. The fence of harps is incerdibly ornate, and one of the most unique memorial features I've seen. Wish the epitaph was still legible though; we couldn't even make out a date due to the extreme weathering of the limestone.

  1. I love ornate iron work! That is absolutely beautiful - I've never seen this harp pattern before.

  2. Beautiful yes, and looks strong enough to keep things in. Really liking your Blog at first glance, has a really diverse reach.

  3. The iron work is beautiful! Shame that you weren't able to read the epitaph and get a clue to the story of the occupants.
