Quick props update:

All these 'half-way to Halloween' reminders are making me realize how behind I'm getting in the shop. Depressing.

This is the current crop nearing completion...

UV mache yard stake arm. The sheerness of some flourescent paint tests my patience, so this has been in progress longer than I care to admit. But it looks totally righteous under the blacklight! This little ghoul is shop bound.

$7.99 gaudy fixture from Value Village (*ahem*, VV Boutique) stripped and rewired with a super long plug in cord, and outfitted with flicker flame bulbs. Needs something... loads of pulled cheesecloth webs or strands of faux crystal beads. Not sure. Will be hanging this in our porch which was needing a better source of light.

Another thrift store score! Stuck some led candlesticks in this hideous candelabra (did someone actually use this on their dining room table?! Yikes!), and am melting opaque whie glue 'wax' drips over a Magic Sculp  armature. Second small candelabra is in the background if I can get around to it!

  1. That's a fun reaching arm! Oh, I don't think the candle holder was all that nasty before, but I like what you've done with it. :)
