Help this Technology Troglodyte... please!!!

Can anyone tell me how- and even IF, I can upload Hauntcast podcasts to my mp3 player (not an ipod)?? 10 points to anyone who can make sense of this for me!!!

    I just download the mp3 to my desktop and then transfer to the player using the USB port.

    If you need more help, just hit up Chris.
